Travel Japan - Day 4

Day 3 was fast paced and stressful navigating the subway and train systems to view Mount Fuji.  We took it slow on Day 4, waking a little later, a sit-down breakfast, a no rush sightseeing at Tokyo Tower.

A little treat from the crepe shop called Marion Crepes at the foot of the tower.  Freshly made, super thin crepe wrapping your favorite fillings - matcha ice cream, mochi balls, and other toppings such as fresh fruits, etc.

We took the train to the northern side of Tokyo to Ueno Park around late afternoon. The park was celebrating cherry blossoms with festivities and food stands. Lanterns adorned the long pathways leading from the station to the temple and pond and zoo.

We stopped by Shinjuku for dinner.  According to Yelp, there is a decent sushi bar near Yodobashi electronics.

We made it just in time for a line outside the Standing Sushi Bar before the owner called end of line for the night.  It was freezing cold, and the bar could only accommodate approximately 10 customers at a time.

For a final night of Tokyo before leaving for Kyoto, we stopped by Shibuya for the famous crossing.
