Maternity photo session

As you all know, I quit providing photography service awhile ago, but I still get occasional requests from friends and former clients. On this particular occasion, it was a call out of the blue, my former client from a few years back texted me a message if I would be interested in shooting a maternity session. I was flattered, but I also was hesitant and a tad reluctant. I have never done a maternity session before, and because of my busy schedule, it was hard to find the time. But after thinking it through, and asking what in particular were they looking for, I agreed.
They were in town, and I knew they lived closeby to Norcross, so my first thought was, why not Historic Norcross with its early 1900's Americana style, and the park next to the railroad track was perfect. On that particular morning, I scouted the area half an hour early, but I was disappointed in the town itself, mostly due to the lighting, but also the angles that I'll need to work with. Skip it, I told myself, and I headed to the park. (to be continue...)
