Reaching its blossoming peak a few days ago, you can see the green leaves starting coming out now. The kwanzans bloomed a couple of weeks ago and are gone now. You can usually find them blooming just right after the last cold front. Bradford pears also reached their peak at the same time as the yoshinos. Quite a sight this time of year, then the next few weeks, you'll find plenty of pollen (pollen counts in the tens of thousands). Not a place for allergy sufferer when that happens, such as myself.
